Spring has sprung in Vancouver and you can see it all over the city! The cherry blossoms have been in full bloom for the past month and all of the bright colored tulips are popping up everywhere. We have been blessed with some fantastic bright sunny days and it made me want to take a break from work and celebrate the new season. Together with Celsia Floral and Railtown Catering, we planned the perfect day for a Spring Fete! A fun flower crown class with a few friends and some tasty treats was just what this mama needed!
Celsia floral was the perfect setting. Sunlight filled the shop windows and the most gorgeous blooms were on display. Before the class began the girls and I caught up over some fantastic nibbles from @RailtownCaters. The golden beets with goatcheese, hazel nuts and saba were my absolute fave! So tasty, I could have eaten every last one of them!
For those of you looking for a fun afternoon with your besties, Celsia Floral’s #flowerschool is a must! Not only do you learn how to make the most gorgeous flower crown, they provide you with the cutest take away bag filled with everything you’ll need to do it again at home! Joh and Tahnee were so helpful in their instruction and made the class so much fun for everyone. The best part was seeing everyone wearing their beautiful creations and admiring how different they all turned out. I hadn’t planned on it, but as I wired all of my flowers I realized I could create an ombre effect with the blooms. I think it turned out really well!
A huge thank you to Celsia Floral, Railtown Catering and to my fabulous friends who took the time to spend the afternoon with me!
