Why having a bath calls for a bottle of bubbly….

4comments 1

The last six weeks have been a bit of a blur. It could be the late night feeds, lack of sleep, constant rocking, or the tears from both her and I. Becoming a mother, literally overnight, is somewhat of a crazy circumstance! But what’s totally weird, is that I almost can’t remember life without her. And to be honest, I don’t want to. Life with her can be hard sometimes, but that little grin and that heartwarming little coo she makes, melts all those difficult days away.

We wake up each morning and just lay, gazing into each others eyes. A luxury that I know I won’t have forever. It makes me realize that soaking in every little moment is so important. But, like I said, a week quickly turns into a month, which turns into a year and before you know it time has slipped through your fingers and life has become a blur. It is so important to stop, and take the time to capture life’s everyday celebrations. I have learned that some days, just having a bath calls for a bottle of champagne!

At the time it didn’t seem like a big deal, but I am so happy that Kristin picked up my Canon Rebel SL1 and snapped a few photos of Esti’s first bath. Looking back at these photos makes me so happy. Enjoying these everyday moments is what makes life so special and capturing her #babymoments is so easy with the Plan Your Baby Moments app from Canon.

Here are a few shots of Esti’s first bath. Excuse me while I go pour myself a glass 😉

For easy breezy bath time with baby, we use the Puj tub and Zoe Organics Bath Wash. This super soft compact tub fits right into your sink. It’s non-slip surface allows baby to safely and comfortably sit in the tub and you don’t have to worry about them slipping out of your hands. It’s one of my must-have baby products and I would recommend it to any new parents.

I’d love for you to share some of your everyday celebrations. Leave a comment below or follow our #babymoments on Instagram.

Happy Friday!

I love your love for Esti. I love that you are so ‘in the moment’ for all those special moments. It’s true… It all goes way too quickly and capturing those moments to keep forever is such a good idea! Xoxox
