2 Easy Summer Outfits that don’t scream “I’m a new Mom!”

So, the last time I did a “style” post was, well…. a long time ago. When I started this blog one year ago, it was suppose to be my creative outlet for all things Life, Style and Baby. Somehow, life got in the way and baby took priority over style. You know how it goes! It’s not that I lost my style since Esti was born, it just doesn’t seem as important these days. Wait a second?!  It is really important to me!

It is so easy to fall into the same old routine and just get lazy wearing comfy tees and yoga pants. The truth is, I feel so much better about myself when I put in the small effort of styling my outfit. Plus, distressed boyfriend jeans that are on the verge of being too big are amazingly comfy and totally on trend! Now I would trade them for yoga pants any day!

Here are a few other stylish pieces I absolutely LOVE, that are unbelievably comfortable, easy to care for, are locally and ethically made and are on SALE.

I’ve worn it on a plane, as a bikini cover to the pool, and layered here with a denim shirt and flats for a stroll through Granville Island on a Sunday afternoon.

Let me introduce you to my FAVORITE pants of all time, no joke.  The Bliss Pant is made from 95% Silk and 5% Lycra leaving them so soft with the perfect amount of stretch. I am warning you, you’ll never want to take these off. The tapered leg is so flattering and looks fabulous with either flats or heels. You could even rock them with a pair of converse and kill your Saturday morning errands!

Best part is this tank is on SALE! Shop it here.

What I love even more is that these pieces will transition with me from play date to date night and from summer into fall! I am looking forward to styling these favorites with chunky cardis and layering the looks for cooler weather in the coming months.

Any suggestions for easy nursing access?

      Hi Lauren,
Thanks for the question! I haven’t purchased a single traditional nursing top. I like to wear button downs if I know I am going to be nursing in public. They still keep you covered and no need to lift up or down. I also wear a lot of over-sized sweaters which are super easy to actually pull over the baby while you are nursing, and they kind of act like a built in nursing cover. Hope those suggestions help!
